Main Tent 

9:00 am Watch--and taste!--the preparation of the winning recipe from the 2004 Food for Thought Recipe Contest. All winners to be announced and prizes awarded.
10:00 am Keynote Speech "Real Meals from Local Fields"  by noted organic farmer Eliot Coleman of Four Season Farm.
10:45 am Cooking Demonstration by Barbara Damrosch of Four Season Farm.
11:30 am Address "Daily Special" by Tod Murphy of The Farmers' Diner.
12:00 pm Cinnamon Zucchini Cake Cooking Demonstration and seasonal foods presentation by author-innkeeper Lisa Kivirist of Inn Serendipity.
12:45 pm Food for Thought Raffle Drawing (prizes include dozens of specialty foods, products, and gift certificates from the fantastic vendors and exhibitors at the Festival)

11:00 am Italian crepes with mushrooms and fontina cheese by Patrick O'Halloran of Lombardino's Restaurant 
11:30 am Huitlacoche (Corn Mushroom) quesadillas and corn cakes with Lydia Zapeda
12:00 pm Spinning and grassfed lamb discussion by Rainbow Homestead



Booksigning
10:45 am - 11:45 am.  by Eliot Coleman and Barbara Damrosch 


On the Plaza  - Ongoing from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 
- Taste, feel, experience and learn from 60 organizations and businesses that promote a sustainable food system.  Check out the amazing line up in the Exhibitors Section.
 
- Kids' Activity Tent- including making 24-carrot necklaces and the ever-popular "Chickens on a Leash."

 

-The Food for Thought Raffle.  Exhibitors have contributed hundreds of dollars of goods and gift certificates to be raffled off at 12:45 in the main tent.  Ticket sales will be ongoing from 8:00 - 12:30.
