10:45 am - 11:45 am. Joan Dye Gussow will sign copies of her
book,
"This Organic Life: Confessions of an Urban Homesteader"
On the Plaza - Ongoing from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
- Taste, feel, experience and learn from 60 organizations
and businesses that promote a sustainable food system. Check out
the amazing line up in the Exhibitors
Section.
- Kids' Activity Tent- including making 24-carrot necklaces,
grinding grains, face painting, a special visit from the Children's
Museum and the ever-popular "Chickens on a Leash."
-The
Food for Thought Raffle. Exhibitors have contributed over
$1600 worth of goods and gift certificates to be raffled off at 12:40 in the
demo tent. Ticket sales will be ongoing from 8:00 -
12:30.
