Rules and Regulations: Entries will be judged on taste and best use of Dane County Farmers’ Market ingredients and other Wisconsin crops and products. Clearness of directions, ease of preparation, originality, and eye appeal will also be considered. Limit of 12 entries per person and/or team. A recipe may be entered only once (in one entry level and category). Entries must be your own creation or an adaptation of another recipe. REAP is not responsible for copyright infringement and reserves right to edit recipes. Food professionals and members of the REAP/Food for Thought steering and planning committees are not eligible to enter. Entrants names and recipes may be used without compensation in publicity and publications carried out by REAP. Judging will be done by members of a Madison-area cookbook club. Only one prize per contestant/team. Winners will be notified by mail or phone and may be invited--but not obligated--to demonstrate their recipes at the Food for Thought Festival on Sept. 21, 2002.
