Main Tent 
9:00 a.m. Announcement of prize winners from the Food for Thought Recipe Contest.
9:30 a.m. Cooking demonstration of Contest Winning Recipe by chef/instructor Paul Short of MATC's Culinary Trades Department. 
10:00 a.m. The Festival Players present, "The Apple Pie Adventure"
10:30 a.m. Keynote Speech "Coming Home to Eat," by Gary Paul Nabhan, author of 
Coming Home to Eat: The Pleasures and Politics of Local Foods
11:00 a.m. Cooking Demonstration by Lucia Watson, Lucia's Restaurant & Wine Bar-Minneapolis, MN. 
Co-author of "Savoring the Seasons of the Northern Heartland"
11:30 a.m. The Festival Players present, "The Apple Pie Adventure"
12:00 p.m. URSW Hmong Dance Troupe

Music Tent 
9:00 a.m. and 11:00 Leahy's Luck, Irish music

11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Booksigning by Gary Paul Nabhan and Lucia Watson 

Ongoing from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 
- Taste, feel, experience and learn from organizations and businesses that promote sustainability.
- The Bounty in our Backyard "theme area" including garlic planting & a walk through ethnic "gardens."
- 'Sharing the Bounty in our Backyard Gardens Donation Drive.' (Please bring garden produce to the Community Action Coalition truck for donation to soup kitchens and food pantries.) 
- Kids' Activity Tent- including making 24-carrot necklaces and the ever-popular "Chickens on a Leash."
