Uplands Cheese Co./Grass Dairy is an organic, rotational grazing farm and cheese manufacturing business in Dodgeville. Our cheese, Pleasant Ridge Reserve, is made on the farm using milk from our own pasture-fed cows. We only make cheese when our pastures are at their best and age it in caves for 4-18 months. Our award-winning cheese (Best of Show 2001 and 2005 American Cheese Society; U.S. Champion 2003 WCMA) is a raw-milk cheese made in the style and tradition of French alpine cheeses. The sweet flavors of pasture grasses, herbs and wildflowers permeate every taste. VISITS BY APPOINTMENT, PLEASE.
