Eggs A-Z Farm We grow pasture-raised lamb and poultry without hormones, growth stimulants or antibiotics. Freezer lambs (whole, half, individual cuts), sheep pelts and eggs from pastured hens are available. We also sell wool for spinning, weaving, crafts and blankets. Farm tours are offered by reservation for groups of all ages from March 4-August 1. Sheep Shearing for Spectators 2009 will be held February 21. Open Lambing Barn 2009 will be March 15, 22 & 29. All events are inside the 11,000-square-foot barn. Christensen’s Farm Christensen’s Farm is a family venture offering a variety of vegetables and berries grown without chemicals. Our U-pick season begins in June with currants and raspberries and continues throughout the summer with tomatoes, peppers and more. NO FARM VISITS, PLEASE. Donna’s Organic Gardens, LLC Donna’s Organic Gardens, LLC, is located 10 miles west of Hartford or 1 mile east of Hustisford on Hwy 60. The farm is south of Hwy 60 on Hwy EE. Sales are at both the gray house and gray barn locations. I am certified organic with Global Organic Alliance and pasture-raise Piedmontese beef, chicken, turkey and lamb. I also have eggs, strawberries, raspberries and potatoes. Available year-round is wild Alaska salmon and purebred Icelandic wool. Gourds are available for crafts. Dreamfarm Dreamfarm has the pleasure of milking goats morning and evening to create fresh cheese on its small family farm. Artisan cheese maker Diana Murphy handcrafts fresh goat cheese. Laying hens of various breeds produce an assortment of colorful eggs. All animals on our farm are free to roam their pastures and are fed organic grain and hay. Emerald Meadows Our family’s 140-acre farm is certified organic. In addition to grains and hay, we grow a wide variety of vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers. Favorites include asparagus, heirloom tomatoes, sweet corn, raspberries, kohlrabi and onions. We sell our products at the Sun Prairie, Monona and Madison Eastside farmers’ markets. JR’s Country Acres We are located in Lake Mills, midway between Milwaukee and Madison off the interstate. We offer eggs, broiler chickens, turkeys and limited seasonal fresh produce such as sweet corn, tomatoes, peppers, plums and peaches. We occasionally have pork for sale, by the whole or half. Keewaydin Farms Keewaydin Farms is a 200-acre organic family farm located at the end of Haucke Lane in Wisconsin’s beautiful hill country. Krusen Grass Farms We are a 240-acre grass farm 4 miles southwest of East Troy in southeastern Wisconsin. Our beef and eggs are certified organic, all-natural, grass-fed and pastured. Join us, and become part of a new model of family farm. Narrow Gate Farms Narrow Gate Farms is a 45-acre, newly established, family-operated farmstead located in Campbellsport. We raise blueberries, which are sold pre-picked at the Campbellsport Farmers’ Market on Saturday mornings, in season. We also have a variety of heirloom vegetables for sale or available through CSA, as well as fresh, pastured eggs. Otter Creek Farm Enterprises We are a family-owned and -operated goat dairy and produce farm located midway between Darlington and Fayette off Hwy F in Lafayette County. We relocated from Pennsylvania in 2004 with plans to supplement the dairy with various farm products including aquaculture and raniculture in the future. Currently we have fresh produce. We connect with consumers through our CSA program, a farm stand open 6 days a week throughout the season, and the Darlington Farmers’ Market on Saturday mornings. We farm organically and sustainably. We have no Sunday sales and desire no outside Sunday activity whatsoever. Prairie Hill Farms Prairie Hill Farms offers grass-fed beef and lamb along with pastured poultry. Our Murray Grey cattle produce tender, great tasting meat on a diet of pasture and hay with no grain. Our animals are raised in a stress-free environment without hormones or maintenance antibiotics. Sassy Cow Creamery Sassy Cow Creamery is a farmstead dairy built in 2007 by third generation dairy farmers James and Robert Baerwolf and their families. They have conventional and organic dairy herds, located within miles of each other. They bottle milk at their farmstead dairy located 7 miles north of Sun Prairie. Products include whole, 2% and fat-free milk in gallons, half gallons and pints. Chocolate and strawberry milk, as well as cream, are also available. The dairy also crafts ice cream. Products are available at the creamery’s farmstead store, as well as in local stores. Scotch Hill Farm Family-owned MACSAC CSA for 14 years. Shady Blue Acres Shady Blue Acres certified organic farm produces a colorful assortment of seasonal vegetables, creative canned goods, irresistible eggs, aromatic herbs, pastured poultry and garden transplants. In addition, we make fresh, wholesome baked goods from scratch using organic ingredients. Heritage breed hens lay our eggs and all poultry is free-ranged on pasture. Sprouting Acres Sprouting Acres is a locally owned, family-run farm that practices sustainable and organic farming methods. This year we are beginning the organic certification process. Wholesome Harvest Wholesome Harvest is a produce farm located near Lake Mills. Our farm will be certified organic in the spring of 2008. We run a very nice CSA. We also sell at a variety of farmers’ markets in southern Wisconsin. We have CSA drop points in Jefferson, Waukesha, Watertown, Fort Atkinson and Lake Mills. We are also using the Westside Community Market (Madison) as a drop point. We enjoy growing a wide variety of produce in the healthiest way possible. The Yesteryear Farm The Yesteryear Farm features certified organic vegetables and eggs, natural beef and poultry, and education about life on the farm in the early 1900s.
