Fruit The Berry Farmer, Inc. We offer U-pick and pre-picked strawberries and peas. Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8am-8pm and Saturday-Sunday, 8am-5pm. Call the Berry Hotline for picking information, (608) 355-1965. From Madison, take Hwy 12 north to Baraboo. Turn left on Cty W by the Super Wal-Mart. Travel west 2 miles and turn right on Hoot Owl Rd. We are 1/4 mile farther on the right. Our season runs early June to early July. Picking containers provided. Berry Hill Farm Berry Hill Farm is a family-owned strawberry farm located in Middleton. From the Beltline, Hwy 12/14 around Madison, take exit 253 onto Old Sauk Rd. and head west about 3.8 miles. We are primarily a U-pick operation though some pre-picked berries are available. Our picking season typically begins mid-June and goes through early July. We provide trays and quart containers for picking. PLEASE CALL AHEAD TO CHECK ON HOURS AND FIELD CONDITIONS. Blue Skies Berry Farm We offer certified organic raspberries, heirloom vegetables, edible flowers and herbs. U-pick raspberries from mid-August to late September on Sunday mornings in season, and by calling ahead for weekdays and evenings. Pre-picked available, too. We’re on a quiet country road. Families are welcome. We are 16 miles south of the Beltline via Hwy 14, toward Evansville; turn right at Union (at tavern) onto West Union Rd., then left onto Crocker Rd. Blue Valley Gardens We are a certified organic fruit and vegetable farm. We also raise pasture chickens, ducks and turkeys. Farming has been a wonderful experience and we truly enjoy providing fresh produce and meats to our friends and customers. Bluestem Farm We grow local ecotype wildflowers, grasses, trees, shrubs and native orchids for your rain garden and landscaping projects. We do no wild digging; our nursery-grown potted plants suffer little or no transplant shock. We also sell apples, grapes and other produce grown without pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. We sell at the Dane County Farmers’ Market throughout the growing season, on the farm most Sundays in May and June, and other days by appointment. Bures Berry Patch Bures Berry Patch is committed to providing area consumers with the highest quality produce in addition to a pleasurable farm experience. Carandale Farm We’re celebrating 40 years of providing sustainably grown fresh fruit. Visit our farm for U-pick or fresh pre-picked strawberries, Concord grapes and fall raspberries in season. Tour our fruit crop test plot where over 40 unusual fruits are grown, many of which can be purchased at the Dane County Farmers’ Market. Test fruits include currants, gooseberries, quince, elderberry, Asian pear, Aronia, Saskatoon, mulberry, blackberry, sea berry, plums, cherries and much more. Our U-pick season begins in June with currants and raspberries and continues throughout the summer with tomatoes, peppers and more. NO FARM VISITS, PLEASE. Donna’s Organic Gardens, LLC Donna’s Organic Gardens, LLC, is located 10 miles west of Hartford or 1 mile east of Hustisford on Hwy 60. The farm is south of Hwy 60 on Hwy EE. Sales are at both the gray house and gray barn locations. I am certified organic with Global Organic Alliance and pasture-raise Piedmontese beef, chicken, turkey and lamb. I also have eggs, strawberries, raspberries and potatoes. Available year-round is wild Alaska salmon and purebred Icelandic wool. Gourds are available for crafts. Door Creek Orchard U-pick and pre-picked apples (70 bearing varieties) are offered as well as U-pick table and wine grapes, fall raspberries and pumpkins. Driftless Organics Driftless Organics is a certified organic vegetable and fruit farm, nestled in the hill and valley region of northern Crawford County. Our specialty is potatoes but in the past few years we’ve diversified and expanded to include a wide array of fruits and vegetables. All in all, we have roughly 40 acres under cultivation.
