Honey, syrup or sorghum Blue Valley Gardens We are a certified organic fruit and vegetable farm. We also raise pasture chickens, ducks and turkeys. Farming has been a wonderful experience and we truly enjoy providing fresh produce and meats to our friends and customers. Bures Berry Patch Bures Berry Patch is committed to providing area consumers with the highest quality produce in addition to a pleasurable farm experience. We cultivate: asparagus, rhubarb, pre-picked or U-PICK STRAWBERRIES, sweet corn, raspberries and fall ornamentals. Please call (608) 924-1404 for hours and availability. Directions from Madison: travel Hwy 18/151 west for approximately 30 miles. Go 2.5 miles past Barneveld. Turn left on W. Brigham Rd. and go 1 mile. See you in the patch! Country Bumpkin Farm Market Come to “our farm” to enjoy fresh, pre-picked garden produce, walk our gardens, or browse our gift shop and greenhouses. U-pick also available for our homegrown berries, fruits, vegetables, herbs, cut flowers, plus we plant and grow our own beautiful, jumbo flower baskets! Open daily, 10am-6pm, April 20-October 31. Take exit 89 to Hwy 23. Travel south 1/2 mile to Hwy P on right. (Super Wal-Mart and Home Depot are on left.) Turn right onto Hwy P for 1 mile. We are on the left. Foster’s Fall Harvest Foster’s Fall Harvest has all of your fall decorator needs in one spot. We specialize in a large variety of pumpkins. Select from the lawn or take a free hayride to our pumpkin patch and pick from the field. Hayrides offered Sundays in October, 1-4pm. Also have squash, gourds (including dried birdhouses), ornamental corn, corn shocks, straw bales and mums. Apples, Amish jams and candy, along with crafts are sold in the shed, Monday-Friday, 5-7pm, and Saturday-Sunday, 9am-7pm. Open September through October. Come enjoy the farm animals and take pictures. Look for our Big Turkey. Located 4 miles north of Marshall on Hwy 73. Gentle Breeze Honey, Inc. Our family has been producing Gentle Breeze Honey since 1965. We market raw, fancy white clover honey in sizes from half pints to five pounds. Our old-fashioned honeycomb is a specialty Grandma remembers eating as a kid! We also have handmade pure beeswax candles that burn longer and cleaner than paraffin wax and seldom drip. From Mt. Horeb, take Hwy 92 south 5 miles to Town Hall Rd., turn left and continue to the Gentle Breeze Honey sign. PLEASE CALL BEFORE YOU VISIT. Hidden Oaks Apiary Hidden Oaks Apiary, home of bee barf honey, is a small, family-owned and -operated farm located on the outskirts of Oregon. We have been providing raw honey to the local area for over four years. Our original intent was to have a hive of bees to pollinate our small orchard. We now have over 20 hives and continue to grow. We provide pollination services, swarm removal and educational opportunities such as in-classroom “field trips” and presentations. NO FARM VISITS, PLEASE. Krause Family Farms At Krause Family Farms, our beef and hogs are naturally raised. We participate in the certified Angus beef program. Locally processed and state inspected, our meats are sold frozen in any amount including halves and quarters. Each spring we make maple syrup and sell in glass and plastic containers of all sizes. We also grow natural-shaded ginseng in our farm woods. Our farm is located approximately 60 miles west of Madison. PLEASE CALL BEFORE COMING TO THE FARM. Lapacek’s Orchard We are a small family-owned and -operated business conveniently located just 1/2 mile east of Poynette on Hwy CS and Q. Throughout the apple season, we offer over 30 varieties of apples, delicious caramel apples and unpasteurized apple cider. Our farm offers many family activities including: feeding our cows apples, visiting our emus, playing in the sunflowers, finding a pumpkin or gourd, and searching for kittens. See you in the fall! Marsden’s Pure Honey Marsden’s is a producer/packer. Products include local specialty honey in glass and plastic containers, comb honey, spun honey, homemade candles and seasonal fresh fruit including peaches, apples and plums. NO FARM VISITS, PLEASE. One Sun Farm & Bakery One Sun Farm specializes in perennial food crops like asparagus, raspberries and hazelnuts. Also available are 100% grass-fed beef and a variety of annual vegetables. One Sun Bakery uses our own farm produce, organic and local ingredients to produce high quality, wholesome and homemade foods. One Sun Farm Store welcomes everyone to come and visit and purchase our farm-friendly food: frozen meat, pizzas and berries, fresh produce in season, special-order baked goods, ice and refreshments. Food service and catering available. The Plahnt Sense Farm We currently specialize in growing a large selection of vegetables. We also grow a nice selection of culinary, medicinal, and aromatic herbs and dye plants, both potted and fresh cut. We also grow edible and scented flowers for jazzing up your landscape. We can be found at the Sun Prairie and Fall River farmers’ markets and possibly others. Please ask about our sustainable farming methods. Please give us a call. Thanks. Prairie Hill Farms Prairie Hill Farms offers grass-fed beef and lamb along with pastured poultry. Our Murray Grey cattle produce tender, great tasting meat on a diet of pasture and hay with no grain. Our animals are raised in a stress-free environment without hormones or maintenance antibiotics. We offer a convenient 25-pound beef assortment pack and individual cuts as well. Our pastured chickens and turkeys are available frozen in summer and fall. We also sell farm fresh eggs and locally produced honey. River Valley Ranch Seasonal fresh produce, 5 varieties of fresh mushrooms, wild mushrooms in season, all pesticide- and chemical-free. River Valley Ranch is the oldest commercial mushroom farm in the Midwest. Handcrafted sauces and salsas from our on-farm kitchen, using our farm-grown produce, as well as locally produced foods are available in our year-round market. Located at Hwy 50 and Cty P, 8 miles east of Lake Geneva, open 7 days per week, 9am-6pm. Ten Eyck Orchard Ten Eyck Orchard consists of 40 acres of fruit trees. The farm—in our family since 1839—has evolved into a high-density dwarf orchard with 50 varieties of apples. All apples are tree-ripened, picked and sorted with great care and sold at their flavor peak. Our home market is located on Hwy 11/81, 3 miles west of Brodhead, and is open daily from late August into November. We also offer Asian pears and plums.
