We grow pasture-raised lamb and poultry without hormones, growth stimulants or antibiotics. Freezer lambs (whole, half, individual cuts), sheep pelts and eggs from pastured hens are available. We also sell wool for spinning, weaving, crafts and blankets. Farm tours are offered by reservation for groups of all ages from March 4-August 1. Sheep Shearing for Spectators 2009 will be held February 21. Open Lambing Barn 2009 will be March 15, 22 & 29. All events are inside the 11,000-square-foot barn.

U-pick and pre-picked apples (70 bearing varieties) are offered as well as U-pick table and wine grapes, fall raspberries and pumpkins. Fresh, unpasteurized apple cider is pressed weekly. Naturally colored yarn from our black Welsh mountain sheep and Lincolns is now available. Season: mid-August to late November. Foster’s Fall Harvest has all of your fall decorator needs in one spot. We specialize in a large variety of pumpkins. Select from the lawn or take a free hayride to our pumpkin patch and pick from the field. Hayrides offered Sundays in October, 1-4pm. Also have squash, gourds (including dried birdhouses), ornamental corn, corn shocks, straw bales and mums. Apples, Amish jams and candy, along with crafts are sold in the shed, Monday-Friday, 5-7pm, and Saturday-Sunday, 9am-7pm. Open September through October. We are a small family farm. We raise European red deer for meat, breeding stock, antlers and hides, without the use of antibiotics, growth hormones, or animal byproducts in our feed. Our animals are born and raised on our farm. We sell our venison at the Dane County Farmers’ Market and other venues. We also offer both U-pick and pre-picked pumpkins. Fresh, unpasteurized cider is pressed each week in season. For 30 years, we have grown quality fruit and produce with food safety and the environment in mind. Ten Eyck Orchard consists of 40 acres of fruit trees. The farm—in our family since 1839—has evolved into a high-density dwarf orchard with 50 varieties of apples. Wholesome Harvest is a produce farm located near Lake Mills. Our farm will be certified organic in the spring of 2008. We run a very nice CSA. We also sell at a variety of farmers’ markets in southern Wisconsin. We have CSA drop points in Jefferson, Waukesha, Watertown, Fort Atkinson and Lake Mills.
