Dane County Farmers' Market Breakfast
On March 24th, the Dane County Farmers’ Market breakfast
will benefit REAP Food Group’s Chef in the Classroom Program.
When: Saturday, March 24th, 8:30 am - 11 (or when sold out)
Where: The Madison Senior Center, 330 W. Mifflin St., Madison, WI
Cost: $15 for full breakfast or $8 for 1/2 portion
No reservations accepted. Tickets sold at the door on a first come first served basis.
Chef Tory Miller from Graze and L’etoile and Chefs Lisa Jacobson and David McKercher from the Mermaid Café will lead a team of students from the Chef in the Classroom programs at Sherman Middle and East High Schools. They will prepare an exquisite breakfast that features local ingredients from the vendors at the Dane County Farmers’ Market.
Breakfast will include:
Chili Slow-braised Local Pork Crepes (Vegetarian Option: Spinach and Mushroom Crepe),
Delightful House-pickled Vegetables,
Sweet Potato Roesti,
Farm-fresh Fried Egg,
A Famous Graze Croissant,
Choice of Beverage

All proceeds from the breakfast will benefit REAP's Chef in the Classroom program, teaching youth how to cultivate the tools of healthy eating through increased scratch cooking skills, an appetite for fresh local foods, and a well-rounded knowledge of the local food system.
