Orchards for Schools

Delicious, crisp, and sweet. Few things
taste better than a fresh Wisconsin apple in the fall. Students agree - as Waunakee's school meal program found out. When they started serving apples from nearby Lapacek Orchard their students ate more of them. Four times as many in fact.

WHL has begun to compile a list of WI orchards interested in selling to schools. For each orchard you'll find contact information, apple varieties available for purchase, delivery area, and pricing information. Many orchards welcome school visits and some are able to visit lunchrooms or classrooms. Check them out.
