10 am Informative and interactive discussion on grazing and grass-fed practices and products co-led by:
Laura Paine, Grazing and Organic Agriculture Specialist at the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection, and Bert Paris, a leader in the grazing movement and PasturLand dairy farmer.
11 am Chef Showdown
Area chefs are challenged to create a Grilled Cheese Specialty with fresh ingredients from the Dane County
Farmers’ Market and a selection of mystery cheeses. Who will be this year's big cheese?
Local chefs and buyers share stories on how and why they put forth the extra effort to support local
farms and serve or stock local food.
