| FAQ Can I bring my children? Can I purchase extra “short pours” of the featured beers? I don’t eat meat. Will there be vegetarian options? My friend wants to come but he/she/they don't want to eat. | About Burgers & Brew Event hosts, REAP (Research, Education, Action and Policy) on Food Group, came up with this idea in 2008 as a way to celebrate Southern Wisconsin's great local traditions of grilling out and brewing beer. REAP works to support a sustainable regional food system and as part of that mission coordinates a remarkable network of farmers, chefs and other food service professionals called the "Buy Fresh Buy Local (BFBL)" partnership. Burgers & Brew is a fun way for BFBL partners to get together and share their love of local food and to have a great time getting to know you, the folks that make this exciting event possible. At B&B unique burgers are prepared with locally-raised meats, vegetables and cheese featuring dynamite flavor combinations found only in Southern Wisconsin. You can wash these tasty treats down with locally-brewed beers selected to uniquely complement each chef’s creation. Burgers and Brew is a fundraiser for the Buy Fresh Buy Local program. We are grateful to our sponsors below for their support of this event. |
