Indulge your tastebuds and celebrate a bountiful season at one of Madison's excellent restaurants during REAP Food Group's Local Harvest: A Taste of the Town event. Fourteen participating restaurants will create unique, flavorful specialties to showcase the richness and diversity of food grown on local farms.
Local Harvest has become one of Madison's top local food experiences and an opportunity to contribute to building a more sustainable food system by supporting local establishments that buy locally. Please join us at any of the following restaurants to celebrate the season's bounty!

Chef Matthia and the Alchemy Cafe feature three nights of tasty specials, locally-sourced from farmer friends such as Black Earth Meats, Jordandal Farms, Drumlin Community Garden and Emerald Meadows Family Farms. And be sure to check out the new seasonal Harvest menu, consisting exclusively of the bounty of freshness from community farms.
Be sweet during Local Harvest and visit Bloom Bake Shop in Middleton for their delicious treats. All three days, Bloom will be featuring Fresh Beet & Brown Sugar Pastry Pockets and Sweet Pumpkin Pastry Pockets in honor of the fall season!
Join Bunky's all three nights as they highlight the season's bounty with the combined flavors of Italian and Mediterranean!

Let Harvest bring you a unique dining experience and a menu enhanced by seasonal locally-grown, and organic ingredients.
First course: House-made Country-Style Pork Pate (Butler's Farm), Elderberries (Mary Ellen Frey/Farmers' Market), Mustard Greens (Harmony Valley Farm)
Entrée course: Grilled Hanger Steak (Lange Family Farms), Warm Potato Salad (potatoes from Garden to Be and Black Earth Organics, herbs from Harmony Valley Farm and Ridgeland Organics) and Chimichurri Sauce
Dessert: Poached Moonglow Pears (Future Fruit Farm), Crème Fraiche Semifreddo, (cream from Sassy Cow Creamery), Maple Candy and Hickory Nut Tuile (syrup and hickory nuts from Sylvan Disch at the Farmers Market)

First Course: Mixed green salad with Eplegaarden honeycrisp apples, dried Wisconsin cranberries, Fantome Farm montrachet and spicy pecans with an apricot vinaigrette
Entree: Grilled Fox Valley Berkshire milk-fed pork with Yesteryear Farms organic butternut squash risotto, wilted Drumlin Community Farms collard greens and sage gravy
Dessert: Basil creme brulee made with Sassy Cow cream, basil from Garden to Be and eggs from Liliana's own chickens (She is very proud of them!)
