Research

REAP serves as a clearinghouse for existing and new research, data, and information on food issues in Wisconsin's capital region. We monitor public and private initiatives and conduct research on local food system concerns.

Professor Jack KloppenburgAdditionally, we network with various community, university, and governmental research initiatives to assemble information and develop knowledge that will help us create a more sustainable food system.

REAP's University research partners include the Wisconsin Foodshed Research Project and the UW Center for Integrated Agricultural Systems. We collaborate with a variety of non-governmental organizations and initiatives actively engaged in exploring, through research, how Wisconsin's food system might be more healthful, sustainable, and just.
