Nourishing Wisconsin Conference

REAP Food Group F2B

Learn about Nourishing Wisconsin

REAP Food Group and  FairShare CSA Coalition are hosting two Farm to Institution conferences – one in November 2025 in Madison, and one in November 2026 further north in the state.

We’re scaling up local food procurement by bringing together producers and buyers from across the state to build community knowledge and identify gaps for wholesale distribution to regional institutions. We’re lucky to have so many field experts in the state, and are excited to bring the community together for connecting and learning!

The first conference features panels that will cover relationship-building, production planning and pricing, and wholesale business pathways. Sessions took place on November 10th, and were followed by a local tour the morning of November 11th to showcase the Foodshed Partnership – an innovative new program tackling wholesale storage, processing, and distribution in Madison. Recordings of the sessions in HMoob, Spanish, and English will be uploaded soon.

Thank you to our Sponsors!

We’re grateful to have additional community support in this project. Thank you to Maize, Marbleseed, Green Box Compost, Wisconsin Farmers Union, The Common Market Great Lakes, and University of Wisconsin-Madison Community Food Systems.

Join the Community of Practice

Coordinating with the conference, we’re hosting a Community of Practice for organizations working on farm to institution programing to network, inform future conference sessions, and share knowledge.
