SUMMARY:Dinner on the Farm at Flynn Creek
DESCRIPTION:Food connects us to something larger than ourselves. It ties us to the land it grows from\, the people who tend it\, the body that consumes it\, and the community we share it with. This is the belief at the center of REAP’s work\, and it’s the spirit behind this dinner. \n  \nOn August 13th\, we’re gathering at Flynn Creek Farm\, a regenerative organic farm in Verona dedicated to healing the soil while growing nutrient-dense food\, for an evening built entirely around nourishment and connection. Chef Evan Dannells\, named 2025 Madison Magazine Chef of the Year\, will prepare a multi-course dinner using meat and produce grown right on the farm. The meal will be paired with ciders from The Cider Farm\, an organic orchard and cidery near Mineral Point that hand-grafted its own trees to craft complex\, wine-like ciders. Here\, you’ll taste a meal rooted in the land you’re sitting on\, and meet the people responsible for growing it. \n  \nArrive early for an optional tour of Flynn Creek Farm at 5:00 before dinner at 6:00\, and see firsthand how the farm’s regenerative practices shape what ends up on your plate. \n  \nThe evening itself is shaped by multidisciplinary artist and visual anthropologist Marlon F. Hall and REAP’s Executive Director Noah Bloedorn\, drawing on their experience creating The Mosaic Dinner Series. Their aim is simple: to create space for people to slow down\, be present\, and connect to themselves\, each other\, and the land. \n  \nThis is what REAP works toward every day. A food system that supports farmers\, strengthens community\, and reminds us that eating well is one of the most direct ways we care for ourselves\, each other\, and the land we depend on.
