What is Farm to Community?
Community connection is at the core of all of REAP's work. When we collaborate directly with organizations and leaders working on the ground, we can tap into deeper understandings of food system challenges. Together, we work on projects to create food solutions for the unique communities that our partners serve.
What Does Farm to Community (F2C) Do?
Farms to Families (F2F) is a collaborative program providing Latino/Indigenous families with Resilience Boxes containing nutritious foods sourced from local growers. REAP and Roots4Change Cooperative (R4C) are the co-creators of F2F.
A Bowl of Soul (ABOS) is a meal prep and delivery program created by community doula, culinarian, agriculturist, and founder of Oasis Maternal Care, Qwantèse D. Winters. ABOS is committed to ensuring that Black mothers in Dane County receive the nourishment, support, and care they need to thrive in the postpartum period.
The Dane County Food Action Plan is a community-centered initiative to develop a comprehensive regional food system action plan for Dane County. Our mission is to create a collaborative, inclusive process that ensures the voices of all stakeholders—farmers, food producers, retailers, buyers, agencies, organizations, and everyday eaters—are heard and integrated.
Dane County Food Collective (DCFC) is an organization of individual food industry leaders and individuals working together to create a stronger food system in Dane County. It is working for the betterment of our local food system through advocacy, resource sharing and collective action.
